Christian Psychics
The phrase Christian psychics is somewhat a dichotomy because most Christians do not believe in psychics.
Consider the following: you cannot help the fact that your eyes may be blue or your skin may be brown. Psychics cannot help the fact that they can see the future. It’s something that happens, most often, at birth.
So if someone believes the teachings of Jesus to be in alignment with her belief system, but she happens to have the gift. . . can she not be a Christian psychic?
Traditional religions vs. new age religions
Because most Christian churches teach that "fortune tellers" are charlatans who get their information from the devil, many intuitives leave the traditional Christian church to follow one that is more accepting of their gift.
Many new age religions, or even age-old ones such as Gnostics, still follow the teachings of Christ. However, they might argue that the Bible is not a pure and true word of God because of all the editing done over the centuries.
Back to the question. . Can someone be Christian and psychic?
Yes, just as there can be Christian brunettes, or Christian people with blue eyes.
Not all psychics are frauds.
I’m sure you’ll find most reputable clarvoyants to have compassionate hearts and want to use their gifts to help people. Their information does not come from satan or any other dark or evil force.
Are you a Christian considering a reading?
Please do not feel guilty for seeking guidance. God will never abandon you. He’s given you intuition so that you’ll know if someone is trying to deceive you. He’s given you intellect to seek guidance if you need it. And he’s gifted certain people the ability to see what’s ahead for you. This information can help you make better choices to minimize any trouble, or pain.
